# Resolve held, partial or uncertain delivery

## Before you begin

A job shown as held, partial or uncertain in the post's API delivery details.

## Steps

1. Open the post from Content and, in its API delivery details, choose Review paused delivery, Review remaining posts or Check X and resolve. Read the account, affected parts and recorded error in the job.

2. For a connection problem, open Connection settings, fix or reconnect the intended X account, and return to the paused job.

3. For a partial thread, inspect links to the already published parts before choosing Resume unsent work. Those parts must not be posted again.

4. For an uncertain part, check X first. Choose Verified outcome. If published, paste its full link or numeric ID into X post URL or ID; choose Definitely not sent only when verified.

5. Check I checked X and confirmed this outcome, then choose Record verified outcome. Resolve all uncertain parts before resuming. If every part is already confirmed on X, use Finish recording publication.

6. Use Resume unsent work or Cancel unsent publication only when offered, then recheck the status.

## A practical example

If parts one and two of a thread have confirmed links and part three is uncertain, inspect X for part three before acting. Record its verified outcome, then resume only work that remains unsent.

## Check the result

The outcome is recorded truthfully and any remaining work is handled without duplicating a post.

## Troubleshooting

An uncertain network response is not proof of failure. Cancelling unsent work does not delete parts already on X. A pasted URL only identifies a post; you must still verify the account and wording.
