1. These terms and your purchase
These terms apply to this website, the OwnPost digital software kit, and our optional one-to-one deployment service. “We”, “us”, and “our” refer to OwnPost, the product provider. By placing an order, you agree to these terms and our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled.
You must be legally able to enter into this purchase and have authority to use the payment method and any business account you provide. Supply accurate contact and billing information.
2. Products, prices, and payment
- The kit includes source code and documentation for a self-hosted workspace.
- Deployment help is available for an existing kit owner. This service alone does not include the kit.
- The kit and deployment help can also be purchased together.
See current prices before ordering. Each is a one-time purchase, with no OwnPost subscription. Prices exclude applicable taxes, which are shown at checkout. Hosting, domains, AI services, optional X API access, and other provider charges are separate.
Dodo Payments provides hosted checkout and acts as merchant of record for the transaction. Its applicable checkout terms also apply. Review the selected products, final total, and policies before paying. Future price changes do not change an already completed order.
3. Access and deployment help
The kit is delivered digitally through the access instructions associated with your confirmed payment. You need a GitHub account to accept private repository access. No physical goods are shipped. See our Delivery & Services Policy for access and booking information.
Deployment help covers initial setup of your workspace and assistance connecting your MCP client. You supply the required accounts, permissions, and credentials. Ongoing operation, maintenance, backups, custom development, and unlimited support are not included unless separately agreed in writing.
4. Final sales and cancellation
All sales are final. No refunds once payment is made, except where required by applicable law or the payment provider’s rules.
This applies to the kit, deployment-only orders, and the combined purchase. Changing your mind, not using the kit, or deciding not to proceed with setup does not qualify for a voluntary refund. Our full refund policy explains payment problems and rights that cannot be excluded.
5. Software and intellectual property
Your purchase provides access to the kit for running your own workspace. It does not transfer ownership of the OwnPost brand or intellectual property. Use, modification, and redistribution of code are subject to the license supplied with the kit. Third-party components retain their own licenses and notices.
You remain responsible for your posts, media, and other content, including the permissions needed to use them. Your self-hosted workspace and connected accounts remain under your control.
6. Responsible use and third-party services
Use the software lawfully and comply with your hosting, AI, GitHub, X, and other providers’ terms. Do not use it for unlawful activity, unauthorized access, spam, or infringement. Review generated content and approve automation carefully.
You manage your deployment, credentials, account security, provider fees, and backups. Provider availability, pricing, permissions, and API limits can change. Free hosting depends on provider eligibility and your usage. OwnPost is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by X.
7. Service expectations and liability
We do not guarantee audience growth, income, monetization eligibility, uninterrupted operation, or compatibility with every future provider change. A purchase does not promise lifetime updates or ongoing managed hosting unless expressly included in the offer.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses, lost profits, or failures caused by your configuration or third-party services. Nothing in these terms excludes statutory warranties, remedies, or liability that applicable law does not allow us to limit.
8. Changes and questions
We may update these terms for future use and purchases. The version accepted at checkout applies to that order, subject to applicable law. The date at the top identifies the current version.
