Steps
Use the same five primary destinations on desktop and the phone's bottom navigation. Write remains reachable from the header/sidebar.
Open the workspace menu for Prompts, Assistant, Help & guides and Settings. Use the account menu for Settings and Appearance.
In Settings → Account & data → Appearance, choose Light, Dark or System and an accent. Changes apply immediately in this browser. Collapse or expand the desktop sidebar as needed.
Use Tab to move through controls and the skip link to reach content. Use buttons for reordering rather than relying on dragging.
Increase browser zoom or use reduced-motion preferences; content and actions should remain accessible.
A practical example
On a phone, use the bottom navigation to open Posts and the workspace menu for Assistant. With a keyboard, use the skip link and Tab, and reorder thread parts with their buttons.
Check the result
You can complete the same task without depending on a mouse, hover or a wide screen.
Troubleshooting
If a fixed bar covers an action, scroll its panel and check browser zoom. Preserve unfinished writing before reloading to recover from a rendering issue.
