Shape your writing style and review learning

Build your Voice, Topics, and Examples & Hooks, then review proposed improvements before saving them.

Before you begin

Your preferred writing style or a proposed learning note.

Steps

  1. Open Settings → Writing style → Voice. Add a readable summary, concrete rules, preferred vocabulary and phrases to avoid. Detailed preferences cover tone, sentence length, paragraphs, endings, emoji, hashtags and calls to action. Save the form to activate changes.

  2. In Topics, choose an existing category and add keywords, related terms, audience problems, useful angles, exclusions and frequency preferences. These guide relevance; use Required words in an individual request for text that must appear.

  3. In Examples & Hooks, save representative writing with its paragraphs intact. Mark examples as your own, external or unverified and annotate what to learn about voice, structure or what to avoid. Add reusable hook patterns with guidance, and archive references you no longer want used.

  4. Select examples and use Suggest my style. Review proposed preferences and preview writing with the candidate profile. Applying a proposal fills the Voice form; Save activates it. Previewing or saving a draft alone does not accept a proposed profile.

  5. Give feedback such as Sounds like me, Too generic, Wrong topic or Already covered, with a concrete reason. Feedback is evidence and does not automatically change your profile. In Insights, review proposed Learning Notes with their evidence, edit them if needed, then accept or reject them.

  6. Open Voice revision history to review earlier preferences. Choose Use these voice fields in form, review the form and Save to activate them; current examples, hooks and topics stay intact. A full-access assistant can save explicit edits you request through the writing-profile skill; inferred changes still require your review.

Example request

Save two posts you wrote yourself in Examples & Hooks and annotate what sounds like you. Try Suggest my style, preview the proposed voice, and save only the preferences you want. When an assistant proposes a lesson from results, inspect the evidence before accepting it.

Use the ownpost-writing-profile skill to review my selected examples and propose a concrete improvement to my saved style. Save inferred preferences as a pending Learning Note for my review.

Only your explicit saved changes or approved learning notes affect the writing-style reference.

Troubleshooting

These are reference rules, not automatic model training. Missing or small performance samples remain uncertain. On a changed-version notice, preserve local edits before reloading the latest saved style.
