Inspire or adapt posts from your ideas
Select saved Ideas and review writing options in OwnPost or your assistant conversation.

Before you begin
Saved Ideas and either a provider connection or a full-access assistant connection.
Steps
Open Ideas and select sources. Use as inspiration offers three post options or one Thread. Adapt this post uses exactly one source; say what should stay and what should change. Review the selected account and writing method.
In Write in OwnPost, generate with the selected provider. Adaptation shows the original beside one result. Edit the writing and choose Save as draft. Source links are retained and the original Ideas remain reusable.
In Use my AI assistant, copy the request and paste it into your connected conversation. Read the options, then ask to save selected options or explicitly delegate the choice and drafting.
Choose Add to AI actions for a stored request and later result; run it separately with your assistant. Review and edit source-backed proposals before saving. If a save response is lost, Retry saving option recovers the same Draft before further edits. Copying alone saves no action or draft.
Example request
Select two Ideas and choose Use as inspiration. To adapt a source, select one Idea and specify what stays and what changes. Use Write in OwnPost to review options in the app or Use my AI assistant to copy a request or queue an action. Save only the options you want; the original Ideas stay reusable.
Check the result
You have reviewed options, the drafts you chose to save, or a queued action ready for a later agent run.
Troubleshooting
Fix missing source text before generating. A URL alone is not evidence its page was read. Provider failures keep your input for repair or an explicit method change. Copied requests need to be run in your external client; queued actions need a separate run request.
