Save an idea as a draft
Reuse saved text directly or turn an assistant's chosen option into a post.
On this page
Before you begin
A saved Idea containing the text you want to draft.
Steps
Open Ideas and find the source you want to reuse. Review and correct its text if needed.
Choose Save as draft to copy its text, category and tags into a post draft with a source link. The source remains in Ideas so you can use it again.
Review the draft in the post editor. Edit its wording or attach publication media when wanted; source images used for extraction are not attached.
Open Used in … drafts to see linked use history, including published and archived Posts. Choose Unused to find Ideas not used in the current account; All ideas includes both used and unused sources.
Example request
Use Save as draft for an Idea that already contains your finished wording. For rough research, use inspiration or adaptation first. Saved drafts appear in source use history; Unused filters out sources already used in the selected account.
Check the result
Your post is saved privately as an editable draft, and the source Idea remains available.
Troubleshooting
An Idea needs post text to become a draft. Add extracted or written text to a link-only source first. Review third-party wording and attribution before publishing. Draft creation does not schedule or publish the post.
